1. 상륙/도착하다의 의미
예문) The typhoon hit the coast / The typhoon hit Korea 태풍이 상륙했다
2. (통계나지수)가 도달하다의 의미
예문) Stock prices hit a high point recently 요즘 주가가 상한가 쳤다
But, 한국어로 시험치다, 사기치다, 도망치다 라는 표현이 있죠~
실제로는’~하다’의 의미를 ‘~치다’로 표현되는 것처럼
영어에도 Hit이 그런 의미로 여러가지 표현이 가능하다는 사실~!!
