(Terry is talking to his friend Dale on the phone … )

Terry: Dale I’m in a tight spot. I need some help.

Dale: What’s the matter?

Terry: I’m having a problem with my car.

Dale: What’s with your car?

Terry: I’m not sure. It won’t start.

Dale: Did you take a look at it?

Terry: I don’t have time to. I’m running late for a job interview.

Dale: It suddenly occurred to me that I can take you to your interview.

Terry: You can?

Dale: Sure.
